Endellion Lycett Green attended Exeter University 1988-1991 where she read English Literature and Fine Art. She is predominantly know for her body of work centering on Plant Life.
In 2005, still looking at plant life she made a body of work which was beginning to show signs of abstraction. The work had brevity along with the usual depth she was known for.
Her abstract leanings then took flight on hearing that her mother was
terminally ill. Her gut reaction was to let the abstract take flight and give it time and energy. On her mother’s passing she made a suite of ‘gold
drawings’ using gold leaf surrounded by ‘blown’ charcoal.
